How We Partner
Start by understanding what is already happening.
Tiny Ripples works alongside teams to understand what people are experiencing, see what may be getting in the way of meaningful participation, and build practical approaches the organization can realistically sustain.
Partnership philosophy
We don't begin by assuming the answer is another program.
Tiny Ripples does not arrive with another program, platform, survey, campaign, or event waiting in a folder. Adding something new is one option among many, and often not the best one.
Sometimes the better answer is to strengthen, simplify, connect, redesign, clarify, or stop something that already exists.
This way of working is shaped by years inside organizations, not only by frameworks read from the outside. It is also data-informed: numbers show where to look, and the experience behind them explains why.
The working rhythm
A rhythm we move through together.
Your team knows your organization. We bring structure, outside perspective, and the time to look closely. Everything below is shared work, not a plan handed down.
- 01
Listen
We start with the people involved. What they notice, what they avoid, and what they have already tried. Your team knows the organization, so we begin by listening alongside them rather than to them.
- 02
Understand
We look for patterns underneath the participation numbers, together with your team rather than in a back room. Data helps show where to look. The experience behind it explains why.
- 03
Design
We shape approaches that fit your capacity, culture, and calendar, not an idealized version of them. The answer may be to strengthen, simplify, connect, redesign, clarify, or stop something that already exists.
- 04
Implement
We work alongside your team to put the approach into practice, with shared ownership of how it takes hold. Your people carry the work, and we carry it with them.
- 05
Learn
We build in ways to notice what is working so the next decision is easier than the last one. Engagement becomes more meaningful rather than simply more.
Who we partner with
Different organizations. Similar engagement challenges.
Tiny Ripples works with both corporate and nonprofit teams responsible for creating meaningful experiences, strengthening participation, and turning feedback into practical action. These are contexts, not fixed packages.
Corporate Teams
We work with teams responsible for employee engagement, employee experience, listening, recognition, belonging, and giving and volunteering, alongside the reality of limited capacity and stakeholder expectations.
The work often touches how people are invited to participate, whether feedback closes back into a loop, and how appreciation feels to the people receiving it.
Nonprofit Teams
We work with nonprofits that want to strengthen how they engage staff, volunteers, donors, participants, and community members, often with limited capacity and a real need for sustainable engagement.
The work may include listening, participation, recognition, belonging, and making engagement something a small team can keep going.
The common thread: understanding what people are experiencing, what is getting in the way, and what the organization can realistically strengthen next.
What we might work on together
Where the work usually lives.
These aren't packages to choose from. They are the areas we know well, and most engagements touch several of them at once.
Participation & Engagement
Understanding who takes part, who doesn't, and what the difference is telling you.
Listening & Feedback
Asking well, closing the loop, and making sure what people share leads somewhere.
Recognition & Appreciation
Making appreciation feel genuine and specific rather than procedural.
Connection & Belonging
Creating the conditions where people can find each other and stay.
Employee Giving & Volunteering
Programs people want to join, sized to what your team can sustain.
Engagement Strategy & Implementation
Connecting scattered efforts into something coherent and workable.
Ways we can partner
Flexible support for what your team is trying to understand or strengthen.
The shape of the work depends on what is already happening, what your team has capacity for, and what would be most useful now. These are flexible shapes of partnership, not fixed packages.
Clarify what is happening
A discovery or listening engagement to understand participation, feedback, recognition, or connection patterns before deciding what to change.
Strengthen something already in motion
Support for improving an existing program, process, listening loop, recognition approach, or engagement effort.
Design something practical
Help shaping a new approach, tool, rhythm, or experience that fits the team's real capacity.
Support implementation
Working alongside the team as an approach moves from idea into practice, with attention to what people need to carry it forward.
What the first conversation is for
No pressure, no pitch.
The first conversation is for understanding what you are seeing, what you have already tried, and whether it makes sense to work together.
You don't need a finished brief or a ready scope. You just need a sense of what you are noticing and a willingness to talk it through.
From there, we can figure out together whether Tiny Ripples is the right partner for what your team needs, and what a thoughtful next step might look like.
Start the conversation.
If something here connects with what your team is trying to understand, we can begin with a simple conversation.
